The emphasis of my artistic work has been placed on site-specific installations that deal with the perception of space and temporal/spatial distances. In doing so, I incorporate the specific history of the location and the particularities of the architecture in my installations or place the focus on intermediate spaces that until now have not been perceived. For my installations I utilise light, transparent materials that are suspended into or tensioned in the space and bring about a new division of the space. My more recent works deal with the perception of landscape, urban horizons and borders.
Moreover, a series of objects is created, which reveal the relationship between materiality and the intermediate space and are made of materials such as non-woven fabric, porcelain and textiles.
Schwerpunkt meiner künstlerischen Arbeit sind ortsbezogene Installationen, die die Wahrnehmung von Raum und zeitlichen/räumlichen Distanzen zum Thema haben. Dabei beziehe ich die konkrete Geschichte des Ortes und Besonderheiten der Architektur in meine Installationen ein oder nehme bisher nicht wahrgenommene Zwischenräume in den Fokus. Ich verwende für meine Installationen leichte, transparente Materialien, die gehängt oder verspannt eine neue Einteilung des Raumes bewirken. Meine jüngeren Arbeiten beschäftigen sich mit der Wahrnehmung von Landschaft, urbanen Horizonten und Grenzverläufen.
Daneben entstehen Objektreihen, die das Verhältnis von Materialität und Zwischenraum zeigen und aus Materialien wie Vliesstoff, Porzellan, Textil gefertigt sind.
