The art space Orbit24 is located on the top floor of the company Zöller and offers a wide view of the industrial area of Fechenheim and the east of Frankfurt. I spent a lot of time on site and did a research about the historical development of the surrounding and to come to terms with this industrial-brute environment. Finally, I embroidered parts of the panoramic view on a tansparent membrane made. From different points of view, there are overlays and deviations of what is seen.

Der Kunstraum Orbit24 befindet sich im Dachgeschoss der Firma Zöller und bietet einen weiten Blick auf das Industriegebiet Fechenheim und den Frankfurter Osthafen. Ich verbrachte viel Zeit vor Ort und recherchierte zur historischen Entwicklung der Gegend, um einen Zugang zu diesem industriell-brachialen Umfeld zu bekommen. Schließlich stickte ich auf einer transparenten Membran Teile des Panoramablicks. Von unterschiedlichen Standpunkten aus ergeben sich Überlagerungen und Abweichungen des Gesehenen.
